Answering questions is one of the most important aspects of an interview. Pro Tip: be prepared to answer questions that have nothing to do with X and Os. Not sure what those questions might be? Good thing you are a member of Rising Coaches. We’ve got that cheat code all ready for you too.
We polled a number of athletic directors, sport administrators, coaches and more to find out things they ask candidates as well as questions they’ve been asked themselves.
You want to be prepared with questions of your own as well. Take time to look over the group's questions below to form a few questions of your own to ask during the interview.
And if you aren’t currently interviewing, bookmark this page for when you are interviewing. Or share it with someone in your network so they are better prepared.
After you read these questions, if you want to add to the list, feel free to jump on Rising Coaches social media and add a few questions of your own.
