How did you first get into coaching? What has been the driver that has kept you in coaching?
First got into coaching for my alma mater with my HS coach, Coach Mack Jones in 2015. He took me under his wing along with Coach Errol Pipkins. They were my high school coaches, so I’ll be crazy to not learn from them.
Who has been your biggest influence in your coaching career? Why?
My HS Coach, Mack Jones. He gave me my first coaching job. I learned so much from him on and off the court. I’ll forever be grateful to him. He’s a true high school legend, and I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor.
What has been your greatest lesson learned in coaching so far?
Always remember your WHY. Why did you get into this business? If you got into it for the right reason the game will return the love.
What is your favorite team meal?
Fun Fact: Tell us something about yourself that people would be surprised to know about you.
