STEP 1: MAKE THE BIG TIME WHERE YOU ARE

Be a star in your current role. Leave your program better than when you found it. 

STEP 2: RECRUIT THE PEOPLE ON YOUR CAMPUS

Establish great relationships with administrators. Make sure when you leave that school you will be missed. 

STEP 3: WRITE DOWN YOUR COACHING PHILOSOPHY 

What are your core values? How do you want to play? You will find yourself coaching and operating with a new-found purpose. 

STEP 4: Establish RELATIONSHIPS WITH DECISION MAKERS

Whether it's an email or a note put yourself out there. Introduce yourself and set up a time for an in-person meeting. 

STEP 5: ESTABLISH BRAND RECOGNITION ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Put yourself out there and be a thought creator. Make an effort to put out content regularly. 

STEP 6: MAKE AN IMPACT ON YOUR COMMUNITY

Find a cause you feel strongly about and take action. If you're on a coaching staff that means you have a platform... use it.
